- It used to be that if you had opinions that you wanted to express publicly, your only options were taking a chance on getting on a radio talk show, or writing a letter to the editor. While these are still worthwhile ways of communicating to the public and while I've ended up on a few talk shows and had many of my letters to the editor published, a lot of worthwhile stuff gets left behind due to time constraints and editorial dictates. Blogging bridges that gap.
